Flipkart’s sale took place from May 14 to May 18 this year, and according to the company, it experienced a five-fold growth in transactions on its platform. In a statement, the company said, “We exceeded our set sale targets of 5X of a normal day. Our business numbers for five days of ‘Big 10’ Sale is almost equal to the non-sale business we do in one month.”

Meanwhile, Flipkart has offers for customers who user the ‘PhonePe’ service. It is an in-house fintech company which provides payment solutions based on UPI.
